Because it has grown into the largest agent network of Western Union in the Philippines, PETNET has also invested commensurately in back room operations to better service the needs of its business partners. New and existing business partners benefit from our 11 years of experience of being a leader in the industry.

We have Business Development Officers holding office in key cities across the country to strengthen coordination with our partners and to be more responsive to market forces and conditions prevailing in the areas where our partners and their locations are situated. As part of its marketing program, PETNET continually undertakes a location improvement program for partner locations to increase and enhance market awareness. PETNET, through its Business Development team, also conducts continuing training for Front Line Associates (FLAs) of business partner locations to maintain high standards in product knowledge and customer service. All these with the end in view of a lasting partnership that produces a revenue stream that is viable and sustainable.

As a financial institution and a remittance agent, we put great emphasis on compliance with applicable laws and government regulations. For this reason, we constantly coordinate with regulatory agencies such as the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC), and keep abreast of the latest applicable government issuances. Our Compliance Department conducts training for business partners to assist them in understanding these issuances and help them with regulatory and compliance concerns.
